How to use the facial recognition with temperature detector in a correct and proper way.

The instruction is suitable for model FacePro1-TD and FacePro1-TI.

Because infrared array sensors are heat-sensitive elements, the installation and operation environment should be within the recommended range and far away from heat source. Otherwise, the infrared temperature measurement accuracy will be affected. In severe cases, there will be obvious temperature anomalies, which will make it impossible to use normally.

Be sure to read the cautions before use.

1. The results of temperature measurement are only for reference, not for medical reference.

2. Due to the infrared characteristics, in the low-temperature environment, the temperature measured by the equipment will be significantly lower than the normal body temperature due to the low surface temperature of the human body. Therefore, it is recommended that users make low-temperature compensation at low temperature. After the low-temperature compensation, the accuracy will be reduced. On the contrary, in the high temperature environment, the body surface temperature will also be on the high side, and the difference between the ambient temperature and the human body temperature will become smaller. Therefore, high temperature compensation is recommended to reduce the accuracy.

Besides, the staff will come out from the sunshine or the high temperature room to check the body temperature and wait for a while. The hair, clothes and accessories will be tested after the temperature drops.

The effective temperature measurement range of the module used by the temperature measuring equipment is 60° above and below, about 1m away from the fan range, and there should be no reflective objects within this range. For example: glass, smooth tile, metal, etc. The distance of the reflective object on the front of the product is suggested to be more than 5m, otherwise the error will be too large.

6. Do not install multiple temperature measuring devices close to each other in the same direction. An included Angle should be formed to prevent light interference between modules. –60 degrees, 60 degrees left and right, within 1 meter.

a. Forehead temperature detection (system default mode) : the device requires the face to be in the recognition box, so the user is required to adjust the position of the face It is suggested to adjust the height of product installation according to the average height of local employees

The figure should be added here. At the installation height of 1.5m, people should stand at a distance of 40cm. It is recommended to put a 40cm sticker on the floor in front of the equipment. The adaptive face height is 1.5-1.7m. People over the height, to bend the knee, short of the height, need to pad. It is recommended to select the appropriate location according to the average height of the local staff.

• In this mode, the device detects the face first, then the temperature.

• The device supports in vivo detection by default. Employees wearing masks are easily identified as the mask part by the device (the probability of black masks is higher), which will increase the time of the whole identification process. If there is no requirement for in vivo detection, the function can be turned off in the menu

b. Palm temperature detection (this is still under development) : after the menu is opened, when palm recognition, temperature detection should be done together.

Due to the relative influence of hand temperature, such as rubbing hands, holding hot things, and cold things, accuracy will be reduced. Relatively, it will be more convenient to use, for equipment installation, users of different heights better adaptability.

8. When the equipment is brought from a place with a low temperature or a large temperature difference for temperature measurement, or the store where the equipment is first installed, it is necessary to let the equipment work for a period of time to ensure that the problems of the machine are consistent with the current temperature and do not form a temperature difference. For example, when the equipment has just been installed from the warehouse, wait for more than 30 minutes after the equipment is powered on to ensure that the temperature of the equipment is consistent with the current environment.

9. After the device is normally electrified, it is forbidden to move the position of temperature sensor, otherwise it may affect the module detection effect.

10. The device supports temperature detection and mask detection, which can be turned on and off by setting the function menu. If you do not need to verify the personnel, you can also turn off the personnel verification function in the menu

11. Several conditions affecting temperature measurement of personnel:

• When measuring the temperature, the forehead cannot be covered by the bangs, which will cause the deviation of the temperature value;

• When the temperature is measured, the farther away from the equipment, the worse the attenuation of the infrared temperature measurement effect will be, and the lower the test value will be. The recommended distance is 40cm.

• After strenuous exercise, you can directly test the sweat on your forehead, which will result in a low temperature value.

• The temperature measurement environment should not be covered by the lens such as steam, dust and smoke, which will affect the temperature measurement effect and the temperature measurement data may be low.
